September Empties

Who's got empties? ME!!! September was a month to be proud of my empties. Check out my reviews below :)

1. & 2. Herbal Essences Honey, I'm Strong Shampoo & Conditioner
I bought this for my 3 week Florida vacation in August and it lasted me all through the vacation plus another week or so. I bought this because I saw an add for it on Spotify and I was intrigued. I really liked this formula and it was nothing like any other Herbal Essences formula that I've used before. It reminds me of the consistency of the Honey Handsoap that I've used before: this like weird slippery but not oily or heavy feeling; the shampoo had the same feeling here. Is that a honey thing? I don't know, but I like it. Also, the conditioner was nice because it was just the right of heaviness that I like. And, bonus, it smells nice and Herbal Essence-y: fresh and clean, my favorite! Totally will rebuy, and have a renewed interest in Herbal Essences that I had semi abandoned a year or two ago after having a super long term relationship with the Tousle Me Softly line (perhaps I should try that out again now that I have tried a bunch of other shampoos and conditioners?).

3. Jason Restorative Biotin Pure Natural Shampoo
I got this for free through Klout and was surprised at the huge size because it was my first full sized thing from Klout! Now I've gotten quite a few things from Klout so the size isn't as surprising. However, I love ths size of this because it lasted me forever! I had been using this shampoo as my "between shampoos" shampoo that was always there for me while I was deciding what to buy next (which explains why this lasted me from April/May until now, haha). I love that it is SLS free and the product hasn't sacrificed its quality because of it. I have used other SLS free shampoos before but was always disappointed because they didn't lather at all, but this one lathers just the right amount to make me not miss SLS. The smell is a nice "natural" kind of smell, but it's hard to place. I wouldn't say this shampoo does anything special or amazing for your hair, but for someone who values natural ingredients, and doesn't like SLS, parabens, or phthalates in their hair products, this is amazing! I would love to try more stuff form this line! Thanks Klout!

4. Dove Damage Therapy Energize Conditioner
The only thing this conditioner has going for it is the scent, and even that isn't saying much because I would say the scent is an acquired taste and it just happens to be one I like. I love grapefruit, and I love lemongrass, so the scent was fine, but it stops there. I could see how someone could hate the scent, and I would say that it was particularly "energizing." If I want an energizing bath product it would be a shower gel because scents are more potent with those because you use it on your hold body. In a conditioner, that doesn't lather, or have opportunity to work the smell into the air, coupled with the small area it is used on, the "energize" aspect is kinda dumb. Plus, the conditioner doesn't really do much for your hair. I actually wanna say that it manages to be too heavy for my hair in a bad way, and it doesn't even feel that heavy when you put it on! I won't lie, I bought this on a whim for some reason when I was going into the grocery store to buy a different conditioner. A whim that wasn't worth it! Won't be buying this again. But I wouldn't mind checking out the body wash some day, but I'm in no rush for that.

5. Quattro For Women Sensitive Skin Razor Refill
I have used this razor type for some time now, maybe 2 or 3 years, and it's fine. I like the sensitive skin version of the blades better than the others, but I hate that the razor handle doesn't fit other Schick blades (like the Hydro Silk). I never was interested in trying another blade until the Hyrdo Silk came out, and I won't lie, I love the Hydro Silk way more because it is significantly more hydrating, which is an important shaving factor for me. Will I still buy these again? Probably, because I have the "Trim Style" handle with the trimmer blade on one end so I just hate the idea of having two razors in my shower, one for trimming and one for actual shaving, but I guess I'll be doing that for a while since I bought some Hydro Silk blades at a super good deal recently. If the made a Hydro Silk handle that has a trimmer on it... I'd be in heaven!

6. Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel Mini
I don't know what possessed me to buy the mini version when I was on vacation, but I did, haha. I like this formula, but it isn't the most hydrating, and I came to enjoy the non aerosol version I had previously. I like that it was small so it didn't take long to get through, hence I didn't have to wait long if I wanted to switch to something else. However, ironically, a coupon lured me into buying the full size of this exact version as my replacement. Guess I'll try a new kind AFTER I used up the big size, haha. Weirdly though, this one is blue colored, and the full sized bottle, that I swear is supposed to be the same formula, is pink, haha (I like the pink better!).

7. L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam
I love this. I bought it on a whim when we finally got a local L'Occitane, and I love it. It is gentle without feeling pointless, I love the weird "immortelle" smell that the whole line has, and I want to believe that it helps with brightening (but who knows for sure it a face wash can really do this, haha). I am going to save the bottle because I plan to buy the refill bag instead of buy another bottoe (thank you genius L'Occitane!), so you could say, yes, I am going to rebuy this. I am also super interested in trying out other items in the Immortelle line, like maybe the scrub?

8. Simple Eye Make-Up Remover
I value simple (no pun intended) make up removers because they don't sting, they don't leave behind a residue, but they also do their job. This Simple one does just this! I never had a stingyness or cloudlyness problem ever with this make-up remover and I found myself actually reaching to use it because of that (when previously I was pretty any make-up remover unless I had eyeliner on). Will I rebuy? Definitely! I would just DIE if there was a CVS store brand version too!!

9. Degree Natureffects Honeysuckle + Tea Tree Oil Invisible Solid
I love the scent, but the formula was meh. I found it to be drying at times (something I HATE in deodorants) and it was "white streak" prone. I do still like Degree deodorants but this one isn't anything special and I only bought it because of the scent. Next time I still to a moisturizing deodorant and the body spray in this scent. No rebuy.

10. Laura Mercier Mineral Powder Spf 15 in Tender Rose sample
I love sephora samples. I don't know why I never got a powder sample before because they are super generous with them! I swear this dinky sample lasted me a whole month with pretty much daily/consistent use! Amazing. And it has me sold. I understand the hype and I love it way more than Bare Minerals. I love it some much that I may have already purchased the full size through Amazon O:) It's not bad if it was technically "free" because of stockpiled Amazon giftcards, right? LOVE!

11. Freeman Beauty Facial Hydration Mask Goji Berry
I got this a while back when I used to have MyGlam Bag and forgot about it until now. I had a bad skin reaction to benzol peroxide (due to over use) which left my skin the most dry and grossly flaky I have ever seen! But, I remembered that I had this mask and I think it did help a little. The smell was nice, and though it did sting a big a first I would bet that it normally wouldn't sting because eventually the feeling stopped and it really only stung in the areas that my skin got super red and dry from the benzol peroxide. Would I buy? I think I would! Every now and then I will have a super bad skin day where all I want is a soothing and hydrating mask to make my face less red and to just make it feel better. I don't own any hydrating masks so I think buying one of these on those bad days would totally be a great back up plan!

12. Burt's Bees Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter
I am so glad one of my buy friends convinced me to try the non-pepperminty Burt's Bees lip balm because I loved this one too (it came in a 2 pack that had a acai berry one that I also loved). It is hydrating and soothing and has never really let me down. To top it off, I've missed it since it's been gone and can't wait to use up the 4-5 chap sticks I have managed to acquire for free recently (mall event, nivea coupon, sun bum office freebie, etc). Rebuy? Definitely! I would love to try it in other flavors too.

13. L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Moisture Cream Sample
I got this sample from my mom (she manages to hord L'Occitane samples some how...) and I loved it! It had just the right amount for one full face application without extra product, which was nice because I hate when they give you so much that it's like 1.5 or 2 applications and it's like impossible to keep for the next day. The consistency was kind of like  gel cream which felt quite nice and didn't leave me wishing for more. It had the same nice Immortelle scent like the rest of the line, and it just felt nice and refreshing to put on. I would love to try the full size to see if it actually helps with brightening but will probably put that off for a while due to price.

14. ROC Skincare Multi Correxion Nourish Stress Repair Night Cream
I quite liked this but I wouldn't say it is necessary. The AHA at times was a little much for my skin and made it sensitive but I found it to be nice to use as an "in between" moisturizer and would just switch to a different one whenever my skin got sensitive after a few weeks. I don't know how stress relieving the scent is but I loved how thick it was because it just made it feel moisturizing. Not sure if I would buy this myself though. I got it as a free Klout perk, and I'm sure it is expensive since it is ROC. It was nice to use but I am not chomping at the bit to buy it and I wouldn't say I particularly miss it, especially in light of the AHA sensitivity thing.

15. Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets
Everyone has either owned a pack or currently owns a pack of these sheets, am I right? And we all have the same opinion. It's good, they do their jobs and it's always there for you. I have tried other brands and find them all to be the same (except the Shisedo ones, those are AMAZING and are significantly better than any other ones I've ever used). I will probably always keep buying these because every now and then they go on sale, which is always nice. But are they to live without? No, not this brand. And will do (like the Neutrogina I've tried, the ELF ones that people swear by but I haven't tried yet, or any other drug store ones.)

16. & 17. L'Occitane Delice des Fruits Citron & Clementine Bath Balls
I bought these at the L'Occitane outlet when I was down in Orlando last month in order to qualify for a free gift with purchase. The smell was nice but I think I have been spoiled by LUSH because other than the smell I wouldn't say these bath balls did much. Would say they were a little drying, and really just a nice fuzzy scented bath ball. It was a nice almost free gift but I wouldn't buy them for myself again.

The New Influenster?! <3

You guys probably remember me mentioning Influenster in the past (like HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE). I love their program, and I love product placement (and I love free stuff! ;) ). Well recently they revamped their website to make it even more of a social platform, not just a sampling program (can we say, woo hoo cutting edge!). I like this change because I always felt that Influenster is destined for success and by taking this more social media centered approach, I think the Influenster Brand will be much more influential itself when it comes to working with brands which means better freebies for people like us, but also better feedback and info to the brands that Influenster work with! Win win!

Also, as a prior member I have 5 invites that I can give out so you can jump the waitlist line. I would love to give them out to subscribers if any of you are interested. Comment bellow and let me know! I think I'd just need your email address to send the invite.

If I Had A 1000 Dollar Spree

1000 Dollar Spree

Talbots Houndstooth Sweater / J.Crew Swiss Dot Sweater / Talbots Pleated Blouse / J.Crew Merino Sweater / Madewell Pencil Skirt / Talbots Satin Shirt / Talbots Poplin Shirt / American Eagle Outfitters Side-Zip Booties / Fossil Estate Document Bag / Calvin Klein Belted Ruffle Shift Dress

My best friend just got a new job (and now has joined the ranks of what I call "jerks with jobs," which just means they have a job so there for are a jerk because I'm jealous, haha), and as a "reward" for just landing the job his parents are letting him have $1000 to buy a new work wardrobe. Words can not express my seething jealously, haha, but of course I am happy for him as I know he would be for me. Anyway, his new found "wealth" had me thinking... just what would I buy if I had the same opportunity. Above is what I think I would buy. Mainly I was going for investment pieces and things I wouldn't just to buy myself all at once because of the price, but given the quality they all really would be worth it in the long run I think. (And, yes, if you do the math technically this adds up to $1003 and doesn't include tax, etc. but it's a pretend shopping spree, shhh! :P)

What would you buy if you had a $1000 shopping spree for new clothes? Comment below and let me know! :)

Shoe Collection Organization!

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Rice, from GirlGotGlitter, and I am a shoe-a-holic..... sound familiar? :P As a little girl I never understood why older girls had so many shoes and always wanted new shoes, but now that I am a 20-something I totally understand the addiction. And like most 20-somethings I struggle to find the best way to store my 10 to many pairs of shoes. I recently rearranged my room in my parents house (graduated Law School and moved back home to take the bar exam and am now job hunting. Thanks Mom and Dad for being so supportive! :) ), and as part of the process I had to undo my then current shoe storage system, which basically was to line up my shoes under my little couch. Well, for moving purposes I decided to just pile all my shoes on top of the couch while I pushed it about my room deciding on the final layout, etc... resulting in the following image...

After seeing all the shoes on top of the couch I just didn't have the heart to put them all back under the couch where they couldn't be seen unless you crouched down and looked under the couch. Not a cute storage system huh? Also, given the new location of my couch further away from my closet it felt "weird" to me to put the shoes over there because it seemed "far" from my closet (given this is just a feeling in the fung shui sense because my room is quite small, haha). I had always see various Pinterest and Youtube postings about shoe storage via bookshelves and always wanted to store my shoes that way but I just never felt so possessed to do it to take all the books of a book shelf and see how my shoes looked and fit. I was always worried that I would take all the effort to take the books off and decide that the idea wasn't as great as it looked on Pinterest and then just have to book all the books back on with nothing to show for all my effort. But, because I was moving my furniture about I took all the books off of one of my bookcases (I have three... don't judge :P) in order to move it across the room because it is literally impossible to move a bookcase with all the books still on it. Well, after I settled on the final space I was tired and didn't feel like putting the books back on and thought I might just leave them there til the next day when I might feel possessed to put the books back... but hark! The shoe storage via bookcase idea was reformed in my mind and I decided to just "try out" what my shoes in the bookcase might look like and was going to be ok with the idea that it might not work because un-shelving a bookcase of shoes is not as annoying as un-shelving and re-shelving books. Turns out I love the result!

What about you guys? Have any genius shoe storage ideas that I don't know about? Do you also store your shoes this way? Comment bellow! :)

Products I Regret Buying!

Ever buy something you thought you were gonna love? And then... regret it? And then want to kick yourself because you can't return it? It happens to the best of us! Here is a couple of things I regret buying. Because I am me, I am determined to finish up these products despite disliking them because I did pay good money for them, they are things that I can't return, and it would be a waste to throw them out.

1. Too Faced Baked Eyeshadows in Magenta Moon and Amber Asteroid.
I bought these shadows in a Too Faced Set that came with a bunch of stuff in a bunch of different categories for a really good price. I was new to makeup and the idea of having a bunch of high end makeup for a really good price must have blinded me to the concept that maybe I should research every item to see if I want them, haha. I have had these shadows for 2 or 3 years now and have only used them a couple times. Why? because they are just boring brown colors with the slightest hint of a color glitter. Not something I really reach for. I also dislike that they are baked and domed so I can't put them in the Z palette (though I may be getting the domed one soon and then I can finally put these in a Z palette!).

2. Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzer Mini
This also came in the Too Faced Set with the shadows, but I did like this a lot more than the shadows. I have used this quite a bit, but I am kind of over bronzer, and this has been sitting unused for the majority of the last year. I am having a tough time making myself use up the 3 mini bronzer that I have, but when that day comes, it will be a victorious moment! Then I think I'll just buy the NYC Sunny Bronzer because it's cheap, I won't care if it breaks, and I can use it during those times when I need to transition foundation colors, because that's really the only time I seem to reach for bronzers

3. Urban Decay Grind House Sharpener
To begin with, I hardly ever use this because I never wear eyeliner! Additionally, it is so over priced given the fact that I can get a very similar sharpener that is just a plan black color for $1! I regret this purchase mostly because of the price, and because I never really need it since I hardly ever wear eyeliner.

4. CoverGirl AquaSmooth Makeup
I remember I bought this because I had a CoverGirl coupon that only worked when you bought 2 items and I bought this on a whim so I could round out the 2 item minimum of the coupon. I swear I have only used it once or twice since. I am determined to use it up after I use up the foundation I bought at the same time as this one (the Natureluxe). I do like that is is a compact cream foundation because I imagine it won't take me ages to use up once I start using it.

5. Nivea Creme
I remember that I bought this at the beginning of the year because if you bought 3 Nivea lotions, or something, you got a free $5 Target giftcard. At the time I was in the market for a lotion so I bought a full sized bottle of lotion and then 2 of these little mini tins of the creme because they were less than a dollar and basically "worth it" just to get the $5 giftcard. I regret the purchase though because I now have two of these and I have hardly even used just one. Some how, after buying these, I managed to accumulate a bunch of hand creams for free (hello L'Occitane coupons, and Birchbox) and these Nivea tins were always pushed to the side because I always though of them as bedside hand cream size. Unlike the other products here, I think I could use this up the fastest by just using it as a body or leg cream/lotion and it would be gone in no time. But, even given that, I still regret the purchase.

6. BareMinerals Brightening Gold Mineral Veil
I am pretty sure I bought this at the same time as the Too Faced set mentioned above. I have used about half of it, but that too time and effort. I like the consistency, but it is just too sparkly to use as a true mineral veil so use is slow going because it has been reduced to use as a highlighter. The problem is, I use highlighters like I use bronzers... not that often and with great effort. Maybe I'll regret this purchase less if I can convince myself to use it more this winter, but even though it came with a free brush, I still regret the purchase.

7. Wet n Wild Cover All concealer
I'm sure most people don't regret Wet n Wild purchases, but it's still a few dollars that could have been spent towards something I would have enjoyed more (like maybe a Wet n Wild eyeshadow or lipstick at least!). I bought this mainly because at the time I had a boyfriend and wanted a concealer to carry in my purse for emergency hickey coverage, haha (we all have dated guys that give you the hickeys without warning, I know I am not alone in my plight! haha). However, I regret the purchase because I don't really ever use concealer except for that purpose. I don't put concealer on blemishes really because I think concealer has a tenancy to make them look worst, and they don't heal as fast. I also don't view myself as having an undereye darkness problem so I have never used concealer for the purpose. I now regret this purchase I seem to have concealer out the wazoo after getting some from Influenster and MyGlam, haha.

So those are most of the products I regret buying. What do you guys regret buying? Any product you agree or disagree with? Comment below and let me know! :)

Wear This, Not That: Budget Fashion -

So, if you are like me you have probably found the "Gentle/Kink-Free/Tug-Free Hair Ties" trend to be super cute (my first experience with the style was through Birchbox when I received a Twistband hair tie), but over priced, like the ones below. And, if you are like me, you remember this book:

Free People Printed Hair Ties $10.00 for 4!
Cook This, Not That: The No-Diet Weight Loss Solution

Well that book is about weight loss... well with my Wear This, Not That, this post is about money saving tips! How about, instead of 4 hair ties for $10, you can get 64 for $15 (or to be exact: $14.74 including shipping & tax). That's right.... 64!!! If you were to buy 64 from Free People it would cost you $160!!! A savings of $145! Much better deal to make your own, right??!

I got the idea to make my own after reading THIS blogpost when I stumbled upon it through Pinterest. I purchased my elastic HERE, made mine following the blogpost's instructions, and stole THIS BLOG'S idea to make them fray-free!

Here is what I started with:

Here is my beautiful pile of finished hair ties! :)

So, have you guys made your own hair ties? What do you think of this style of hair tie? Any other amazing Pinterest DIYs I should try? Comment below! :)

Hit or Miss? Sneaker Wedges

So there is an emerging trend that I think I love... sneaker wedges! They finally are making them in a way that is actually cute! Hidden wedge high tops... where have you been all my life??

I am SO in love with this shoes (the ones pictured are from Free People and are Ash brand), but I can't justify the $225-$300 price tag! I saw a sparkly black pair at ALDO for $100, but I found a cheaper look alike on ASOS HERE and HERE, but even those cost $78. Think the style will ever hit DSW at a discount? A girl can dream right? :)

What do you guys think of this trend/style? Would you rock it? Love it? Hate it? Comment below and let me know! :)

Orlando Outlet Vacation Shopping Haul!

Hey guys, so you may have known that I was on vacation in Orlando for 3 weeks at the end of August. Well, in Orlando there are some FABULOUS outlet malls, and I managed to develop a slight shopping problem while I was on vacation and bought a lot of stuff for amazing prices! I am so satisfied with all my purchases, and I am hoping that the ultra satisfaction will keep me from shopping for the rest of the year (the exception likely being around Black Friday/Christmas sales, haha). Wanna know what I got and some of the amazing prices? Check it out!

L'Occitane
Pivoine Flora Gift Set: $49.00 (I have been contemplating buying the perfect in this set for years, and that alone cost $45 at the regular price!)
Bath & Massage Oils in Revilatizing: $12.60 (for my mom)
Citron & Clementine Bath Balls Set: $7.50 (for my mom)
Dry Skin Hand Cream: FREE because I spent at certain threshold amount!

Victoria's Secret
Bras: 10 for $30!!!! That's right, $3 each!!! I'm set for life!
Swimsuit bottoms: $2.99 each!!
I Love the Victoria's Secret Outlet Prices!!!

Pac-Sun
Bathingsuit: $6.99 each piece

Burton Outlet
Roxy "Fakie" Board Shorts: $14.99
I literally have been stalking these shorts online for years since they first came out. Regular price is $48, there were 3 pairs left at the Burton Outlet, I literally freaked when I saw these on the clearance rack in my size!

Fossil
Wallet: $9.99
This is the exact style of wallet I have been hunting for! Maybe not my first color choice, but it's growing on me! :)

The Gap
Tank Top: $4.50 each

Bass Shoes
Gold Top-Sliders/Boat Shoes: $23.98
Tropical Drink Ankle Socks: $1.99
I think the shoes are an amazing deal because, literally, the morning I before to buy these shoes I was at Target and there was a similar pair there for $24 which are a muuuch cheaper quality, and not as shiny as these Bass ones! (and the Target ones are likely not as comfy as the Bass either!) I am so stoked about this shoe find! They were also an amazing deal because they normally cost $95.95!

Calvin Klein
Khaki Straight Leg "Galaxy" Pant: $18.24
Black "Pique" Polo: $15.50
Khaki "Fit/Flare" Pant: $18.23
Those suit pants are both normally $89.50 EACH! Biggest bargain ever, especially because Calvin Klein is my favorite designer for professional ware! <3

I know all these things probably sound like a lot to buy all in the span of 2 or 3 weeks, but when you consider what people spend for back to school shopping (this is the first time I don't "need" back to school shopping since I have graduated from law school now), and the fact that many people might have made this same purchase but with everything at full price, I am SO satisfied with my purchases and am definitely set for quite some time and have super satisfied my clothing shopping bug! (Won't deny I might still have a slight skincare/ makeup shopping bug to satisfy...haha)

What do you guys thing of the haul? Anyone else been to the Orlando Outlets, or just score some amazing deals? Comment bellow and let me know! Or post a link to YOUR recent haul, I'd love to check them out! :)

Vacation Empties! (13 Things!)

So like a good Blogger I managed to have some empties while on vacation! Check em out!

1. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 12
See my previous posts here, and here where I discuss this product.

2. Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter Mini
I got this at Sephora when I had some store credit because everyone on Youtube that I watch from England loves Soap & Glory and raves on and one about the scent. I decided to give this a go since it is only like $5 and a girl always needs body butter. I concur that the smell is AMAZING! And this body butter is the right amount of rich moisturization! Would I buy the full size though? Not sure, because it is so expensive, but I am definitely interested in trying out other Soap & Glory products and am not below putting the full size body butter on my Christmas list, haha.

3. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy La Fleur Sample
I got this sample in my August Birchbox and I loooove it! I have sampled the classic Viva La Juicy before in my January Birchbox. I am vaguely contemplating buying the full sized bottle of the La Fleur through Birchbox when I have enough rewards points for it. It is like the regular Viva La Juicy but with more floral notes, while also retaining the classic Viva La Juicy scent! Perfection! <3

4. Boscia Black Mask Sample
I liked this mask, and found it to be quite similar to the White Mask which I had used before vacation and LOVED. I liked this Black one and the application and process is the same as the white one, but when I peeled it off it didn't feel as refreshing or brightening as the White one. It is possible that this feeling is all in my head and that the Black & White masks really are the same, just different colors, but I know I would buy the White one before the Black one.

5. Caudalie Beauty Elixer
I previously reviewed this product in a post dedicated all to itself!

6. CVS Brand Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50
This sunblock was ok. I loved that I got it for free through a CVS coupon, and that it was SPF 50, but otherwise, there is nothing amazing about this sunblock. The smell is a little off, kinda like old bananas (ewwy!). However, the staying power was really nice, and if I remember correctly, the price point is pretty fabulous. If I was on a tight budget or got tired of frou frou sunscreens, this one is just fine. Buy full sized? Maybe after I've tried all the Branded kinds.

7. Hawaiian Tropic Sensitive Stick Sunscreen SPF 50
I bought this back in December when I made my first extended stay in FL after an incident where I managed to sunburn my eyes due to all my other sunscreens making my eyes burn upon application and causing me to never apply enough around my eyes. Not a cute look I must say, so out of desperation I bought this face stick sunscreen so my face would stop stinging from other blocks, and so I would stop burning. I also figured that extra SPF on my face would be good to prevent acne scars from getting darker. This product was a win win in both categories! It never stung my face, and it never let me down. The only off thing is, because I apply this product thickly, when I am at the beach sand tends to get stuck in the sunblock and then kinda just stay there all day, even when my face is dry. So, maybe not the best choice for a date, but given that I was always at the beach by myself, I didn't mind, haha. Re-buy? Definitely will be next summer! (Or this winter if I end up in Florida again and need face block sooner).

8. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 30
I have previously discussed this product in a post dedicated entirely to it! Check it out: here.

9. Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles Hand Cream
Let me preface by saying that I have always been marginally interested in trying this product because I kepy seeing coupons for it on Coupons.com, but just never got around to trying it, so was thrilled when I finally got the chance too! I also loved the timing of it, because I had used the Caudalie Vinotherapie Hand and Nail Cream a few months ago. I found the Sally Hansen to be kinda like the cooler younger sister of the Caudalie cream. It has a very similar smell, but to me the Sally Hansen is better and smells more fruity rather than Pez-y. I also loved the resulted. It wasn't that heavy, but I always felt moisturized afterwards. I found myself looking forward to using this product nightly because I loved the smell and the feeling of it! I don't know if it had any kind of long term preventative effect because I wash my hands so often, but I know it always helped when my hands were dry! Will I buy the full size? I think I definitely will after I use up the 3 or so hand cream samples I have managed to get for free recently (2 L'Occitane ones even! Woo hoo coupons! ).

10. Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55
I really liked the sunblock. I turned to its aid when a SPF 15 was just not cutting it for me after long days at the beach and I was getting burned. I had this in my stash after a super coupon-a-palooza in late june/early july (think CVS Aveeno Coupon, Manufacturer Coupon, CVS coupon for $ off a certain $ amount purchase, and maybe even the product also being on sale, it was a magnificent moment in couponing history) and never was super excited about it because I though: "SPF 55? How can I get a tan with that?" And let me tell you, being preventative about sun burn obsessively and slowly tanning over an entire morning & afternoon, is way better than say a limiting hour of tanning with SPF 15. More beach time! And I think, more product use allowing moisturization! I won't lie, this sunblock was thick, and didn't have any special smell or anything, but it worked, it was reliable, it didn't sting, and it wasn't greasy! Would I buy again? I'm not super motivated enough to buy it full price, but if I stumble upon an amazing deal like I did with this tube, I think I will. The only thing holding me back is the price given the 4 oz size, because it only lasted me a full days of use (Though please note that I am a known product over user, and the day before I used this product I got a sunburn so was even more obsessive about application and so may have been even more of a product over user, so maybe it would last you longer?).

11. Sun Sum SPF 15 Continuous Spray Sunscreen
I have used up a bottle of this before and reviewed it here. I still love it, and I actually got this bottle for free from the Sun Bum guys when I visited their office down in Cocoa Beach! I mentioned on facebook that I was excited to buy Sun Bum sunblock while down for vacation and then messaged me saying I should drop by their office, and while I was there they gave me free swag! I wasn't even expecting anything! Thanks Dustin & Dustin! Sun Bum forever! Do you Trust The Bum(Tm)? Cuz I sure do!
***I got this product for free from the company, but only because the guys there are super cool. Absolutely no obligations what so ever to talk about the product because they don't even know I have a blog!***

12. Proxi Skincare Body Wash in Cucumber & Green Tea
Can I just say, I love the weird smell of this product? Because I do. I love it. It reminds me of freshly cleaned pool locker rooms. It must be the fresh smell of the hydrogen peroxide that the brand is based around, along with the cucumber and green tea (though the tea smell is super faint). Whatever it is, I love the vaguely clorine-y smell! It makes me think clean, and the product delivers a fabulous and foamy clean! Would I buy this? Yes I definitely will! I have some coupons for the product, so now I just need to hunt them down in Baltimore! (Sold in certain grocery stores, just not ones I normally shop at so haven't actually seen it for sale with my own eyes, but I know it is actually sold in certain stores).

13. Alba Botanica Natural Very Emollient Foam Shave in Sea Mist
I bought this semi on a whim when I was doing a secret shopping job at a natural food store. I didn't really need any groceries so I decided to get some natural beauty products, and one of the ones that called to me was this foam shave. I love that it is a non-aerosol shaving foam!!! I also love the mist because it is kind of masculine so it leans unisex! Normally I like a fun smelling shaving cream, but for some reason I really grew to love this scent! I also loved the application. Something about the non-aerosol made it easier to get the right thickness of product on my legs, etc. When ever I use gel creams I always feel like I have WAY too much product during my shave and that I'm not getting as close of a shave as a result. With this Alba foam shave I never had that problem. It has enough of a foam to do it's job without getting in its own way. It also found that this product was non-drying and kind of moisturizing, which is always nice with shaving products. Will I buy it again? Yes, and yes! There is another scent of this product that I saw when I bought this one, so I would love to try that next, the next time I come across this product (everyone needs an excuse to go to Whole Foods right?) . I would also love to try other non-aerosol shaving creams & foams, but so far this is the only one I know about.

So what do you think? Have you guys tried any of these products and had similar or completely different experiences? Wanna know more about a product and think I should do a post devoted entirely to it? Comments, concerns, questions? Comment below and let me know!
